The_son_of_Dorn
Hey guy's, i'm enjoying the Horus Heresy novels very much. I am wondering which audio book comes out in sequence with the novels (as I like to read/ listen to everything in order of how it was published) so heres what I have so far 1.Horus Rising – Dan Abnett – April 2006[1] 2.False Gods – Graham McNeill – June 2006[2] 3.Galaxy in Flames – Ben Counter – October 2006[3] 4.The Flight of the Eisenstein – James Swallow – March 2007[4] 5.Fulgrim – Graham McNeill – July 2007[5] 6.Descent of Angels – Mitchel Scanlon – October 2007[6] 7.Legion – Dan Abnett – March 2008[7] 8.Battle for the Abyss – Ben Counter – August 2008[8] 9.Mechanicum – Graham McNeill – December 2008[9] 10.Tales of Heresy – Compilation. Nick Kyme & Lindsey Priestley, editors – April 2009[10] 11.Fallen Angels – Mike Lee – July 2009[11] 12.A Thousand Sons – Graham McNeill – March 2010[12] 13.Nemesis – James Swallow – August 2010[13] 14.The First Heretic – Aaron Dembski-Bowden – November 2010[14] 15.Prospero Burns – Dan Abnett – January 2011[15] 16.Age of Darkness – Compilation. Christian Dunn, editor – April 2011[16] 17.The Outcast Dead – Graham McNeill – November 2011[17] 18.Deliverance Lost – Gav Thorpe – January 2012[18] 19.Know No Fear – Dan Abnett – March 2012[19] 20.The Primarchs – Compilation. Christian Dunn, editor – June 2012[20] 21.Fear to Tread – James Swallow – September 2012[21] Where in relation would the audio books go? (If somone could tell me id be most grateful, just for those who have forgot the current audi books out here they are. The Dark King and The Lightning Tower Raven's Flight (2010 I believe) Garro: Oath of Moment (2010 as well?) Garro: Legion of One (2011) If somone could just slot them in and highlight them in red, I would deeply appreciate it. Thank you for reading Regards, TSOD Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/237372-order-in-relation-to-audio-books/ Share on other sites
Artein
Raven's Flight (February 2010) Garro: Oath of Moment (December 2010) Garro: Legion of One (April 2011) The Dark King and The Lightning Tower is a bit tricky.... initially it was published (in paper) in 2007 for exclusive release at a Games Day. You can probably easily google when was GD 2007. Later it was released in audio format in June 2008. And I won't put them in red in place, you can do it yourself. IronKobra
Really you can listen to Ravens Flight any time after Galaxy in Flames and the 2 Garro audio books any time after Eisenstein. At that point all the other books go off and tell their own little stories around the centre of the Heresy. Dark King and Lightening tower is a bit more tricky but I guess again after Galaxy in Flames they become relevant and make sense. Memnoch
Id put Ravens Flight just after First Heretic and before the short story in Age of Darkness. Dark King takes place before Fulgrim. Oath of Moment is after Battle for Abyss and I try to pretend Legion of One doesnt exist. *EDIT* I should have probably read your original post,I scanned through and put them in order of happening not publication date. My bad! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/237372-order-in-relation-to-audio-books/#findComment-2862903 Share on other sites
