Hezrou
Ok guys what is the stippling technique, how is it achieved and do I really need a stippling brush to achieve it? Stippling is i technique that puts very small amounts of paint onto a surface in very small dots.. or thats how i see it. you dont need to buy a stippling brush but will need to make one out of an old stiff brissle brush cut to a flat surface close to the brissle holder. Lorenzen
stippling is using the brush like a serial killer and stabbing at the model. the "stippling brush" gw offer is a waste of time imho its just a "drybrush" with the brisltes cut short.. a piece of sponge on a stick will do the same job pretty much. Urauloth
Yeah stippling is drybrushing but instead of dragging the brush over the model, you poke it with little jabbing motions. The stippling brush sucks, don't use it. Get a drybrush (ideally an old one if you have one about) and cut it short. the emperor is scottish
I think i know the effect im going for. Could use the sponge that use to come with metal models. Or istead of a sponge cut the bristles on a dry brush really short?
