Wysten
Eh, you think he's bad. Just look at the Sisters of battle and insects from space. Both of those codexes are examples of the 5th edition heavily failing them. Ironically, it was the same writer that wrote both. (Sisters have easily the most restrictive codex writing ever, made most units worse overall, with the few redeeming things being overriden by basic sisters being terrible tacticals. Insects just suffer from a case of "I don't really know where this codex is going in, and 3+ works for marines, lets raise a creatures toughness by 2, give him several more wounds, add 200 points and call it a day.") A good luck at them really makes one count their lucky stars that they are not an xero or a nun. XD Though I definately agree, most of our special charcters are underwheming. The great wolf himself being primary exception due to offering a entire new style of list, Caius being a cheap wolf lord, if a bit limp in leadership and Ajac being almost our version of Khârn, often is a real monster in combat but doesn't fit in with our more traditional view of this edition (and costs a fully kitted squad of grey hunters). Njal probably would have been better if he had kept it on both terms. Very strong, but since he costs a land raider, I would expect him to change how the battle is played. Like a saga in action, or Valcan in a marine list. Silverwolf
HiThanks for your email. Unfortunately, we cannot answer rules queries by email but if you would like to call your local Games Workshop, they should certainly be able to help. The store staff are the best gamers the company has at its disposal and they should certainly be able to give you all the information you need. If you are looking to submit suggestions for FAQs the best thing to do would be to contact Jervis Johnson who gives the address below as part of the Standard bearer articles in white dwarf. Each issue he asks for feedback on the hobby and so he would be an excellent place to start. However they will most likely not be able to respond directly. I hope that this is of help and if you have any problems please do not hesitate to get in touch. Jervis Johnson C/O White Dwarf Design Studio Games Workshop Willow Road Nottingham NG7 2WS Pretty much the reply I expected. The staff in the nearest GW store are a joke (I'm sorry, but when your own store staff don't understand your own rules, its just plain bad), and the store is just as bad, 1hrs drive to the nearest store of worth and while the staff there are actually decent blokes who've a solid understanding of the hobby, they're simply going to point me to the Errata point already discussed. Love how the contact for Jervis in this day and age is still a postal address, and not even an email address. "We value your money and your business, however we're not overly interested in hearing your opinions so will make it as difficult and round-about as possible for you to make an comments to us." I love the hobby, and I love my Space Wolves, but I wish GW would either pick up they're game, or be bought out by someone who actually cares about the hobby. My favourite was reading the BA & GK codices recently, and realising that though they're by the same author, written relatively close together, they have points of fluff which directly contradict each other. Sorry Lord Ragnarok / Mods, if it's a bit to "anti-GW" just delete my comments - GW's recent activities have just been making my wulfen side come through a bit more then usual.
