As you said the pic is dodgy but i can still see the paint job is really nicely done. I'm looking forward to seeing some progress... marshall almarich Posted September 1, 2011 Author Share Posted September 1, 2011 thanks for all the positive feedback its the first time ive put something up online and wasnt expecting much of a response i got the colour by mixing orkhide shade into a pot of skull white bit by bit , it was really time consuming but i (eventually) got the colour i felt was closest to the picture in the index astartes article, i then gave all the green areas a wash of 50/50 badab black and water with a touch of knarloc breen added to it. then for any black / metallic areas i used adeptus battlegrey and gave it 2 heavy washes of badab black . oh and dont worry there will be plenty more where this came from Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
