DannyJZuko Posted September 1, 2011 Share Posted September 1, 2011 Hello Brothers, So, to break up the monotony of painting my first tactical squad (pictures to come very soon) I painted one of my scouts. This is the first scout I have ever painted and I wanted to see what you all thought about it. Thanks for any additional ideas or criticisms. I plan on adding some backpacks or things like that to make teh scouts look a little more utilitarian. But, this is the basic look I am going for. I am also fairly comfortable using green stuff, but I am not sure what kind of things to add. Any reference material more than the pictures in teh codex? Thanks in advanced. The Normish Posted September 5, 2011 Share Posted September 5, 2011 The blue is a bit too rich, I would say. Depends on how you painted the rest of your army. Otherwise, I think the quality of it is excellent. As for green stuff decorations, what I did for some of my scout sergeants is make gold braid for them, to denote their seniority.
