Champion Cliesthenes
Does anyone know of a site that sell heads with Crests (Roman or Greek like Sicariu's and Chapter Champion's)? Cptn. Palladorus
Start with this post in a recent thread and read down. Another option is to carve the helmets away from Dire Avenger crests so they fit on SM helmets. Brother Immolator
Order those directly from their site they are vastly cheaper. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/237663-greekroman-crests/#findComment-2895625 Share on other sites
Brian W
I did a few Ultramarines with shaved down Dire Avenger helmets. Several Eldar died in the making of these two Marines as it is very easy (and tempting?) to carve a little too much Eldar brain out with the hobby knife when you crack open his skull... http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt63/Brianworning/UMSternguardSGT.jpg http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt63/Brianworning/IMAG0055-1-1.jpg /BW Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/237663-greekroman-crests/#findComment-2901955 Share on other sites
Captain Idaho
Reeks of awesome. I think the Dire Avengers were made for the purpose of dissection and donation, they even share some of our colour scheme! Something Wycked
Quite aside from the awesome of the crests and poses, I LOVE the way you've modeled the weapons on the second picture. I am performing grand theft larceny on that idea as we speak. Brian W
Thanks - steal away  They were made in my "underslung-gun-period" :) It's a fairly easy conversion, where I used some chainsword arms cut to lokk like the handle of the gun. Not to hijack the thread, but I actually made a few more guys with underslug weapons some time ago (the heavy-flamer dude is also shown in my project blog on the WIP board). http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt63/Brianworning/25-02-10011-1.jpg http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt63/Brianworning/25-02-10015-1.jpg http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt63/Brianworning/Heavyflamer_front-1-1.jpg http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt63/Brianworning/Heavyflamer_back-2.jpg /Brian Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/237663-greekroman-crests/#findComment-2904431 Share on other sites
