Well I finished my test armor for my ceramic grey Grey Knights. I wanted the highlights and shadows to be pretty subtle, and I think I accomplished this.

Let me know what you think.

Once again apologize for crappy pictures as they were taking with my phone.

As always, more pics and thoughts at my blog

Great Scheme for your Grey Knights, the dark grey contrasts really nicely with the gold detailing on the models.

Wish I thought of painting my Grey Knights like this rather then the traditional silver.

Look forward to seeing more progress

Its funny you know... The colour scheme seems so obvious, yet this is honestly the first time I can remember ever seeing it.

The model has me intrigued and I'd like to see more. Kinda makes me want to make a test model myself, but maybe with some battle damage.

By the way, your NMM seems to have improved from the last photo. But the quality of the photos are pretty average so I can't really see that well.

do you all think it needs one more layer of highlight? I did an extra layer on the boot tips, top of the shin pads and neck plate. just curious if the highlights are a bit too subtle?

Maybe a smidge more highlighting yes

Still look great though. I never considered a different colour scheme for GK, but that looks pretty good!

Look forward to seeing a finished model

As mentioned in the title, here is my first attempt at any type of blending using glaze medium and lots of water. Hope you like!

Still working on getting a better Camera... was looking at a Nikon D60 and might pick it up.

More pics in my blog of course.
