I am Legion
Took me 2 months,\. this is my first squad that I painted in an assembly line. Sorry about the bad photos. This is also my first squad that is fully magnetized. It takes forever, and I wanted to quit partway through, but now that theyre done and magnetized I'll get alot of use out of this unit between Assault cannon razorback, drop pods, or DOA. The sergeant was my favourite part as he has all the options I would ever use. Anyway, sorry if alot of these pics look like duplicates, but they show both JPs and without JPs. I am Legion
Smendrik - My only tip to magnetize troops is to do it before you prime them. I didnt have enough magnets when I started with them so I had to start cutting and drilling while they were painted. Talnox - they are highlighted by 8 layers of red, I just wanted to get the pics done and overwith, so I didn't have great lighting, and only near the end did I change some settings for brightness adjustment. But yeah there is a ton of shading. If you want to see them up close they are on display at the Langstaff and Weston GW in Vaughan, ON Canada. Thanks for all the great words! I'm not giving up, I'm at 905 Points painted, and growing. The next two models I'm painting is Lemartes, which I will use as a standard Reclusiarch, and the Finecast Astorath (which is a great model, the only issue is the axe head was on the wrong way), same deal. After the chaplains I will finish the rest of those Space Hulk Terminators. geez, so many more months of painting.
Kevlarshark
Beautiful models, with strong detail... but you really need to drill out the gun barrels, especially the flamer and meltagun.
vahouth
I agree about the barrels. Either drill them or paint them black up front with a little mithril silver over the edges. Other than that, everything else looks excellent! :)
