Southern California Games Workshop League is proud to present Slaughter on the Strip 2. The Slaughter is a Independent Grand Tournament for Warhammer 40k. The format of the tournament places an emphasis on promoting game play and sportsmanship in a competitive setting. First and foremost we want to encourage the hobby as a whole. We want everyone bringing nothing short of a gentleman’s attitude to the event. We also expect everyone to show an in-depth knowledge of the rules and to act accordingly. We understand a big part of the game in the army list creation and we encourage competitive lists. The Slaughter promotes an opportunity for many of the gamers in the community to meet and play games agianst all different types of players. The most important rule is to have fun and hopefully enjoy a few good laughs. Remember at the end of the day we are grown men/women pushing little army men around and rolling dice.

 

 

 

The Slaughter continues Games Workshop search for a national champion. The “Best general” and "runners-up" will be awarded with an invitation “Golden Ticket” to the Nationals in Memphis in the summer of 2012. So there are two participants that can earn a “Golden ticket”. (no “soft scores” figure into this).

 

 

 

Winners that are unwilling to attend or cannot attend will forfeit their invitation to the next highest. If a player has already received an invite from a previous tournament, then their invitation will be passed on to the next person.
