A little backstory: He & his squad were responsible for the destruction of an enemy Reaver Titan by teleporting onto the battlefield in front of a traitor Stormhammer loaded w/ Obliterators & charging past the shields of the behemoth, surviving withering hails of fire by enemy weapons & even a missed volcano cannon friendly fire. Though Brother-Decanus Septacio was felled in the process nonetheless his Contubernium succeeded in its assault, Septacio delviering the killing blow w/ his dying breath. Centurion & Master of the Fleet Caius ordered he be entombed in a dreadnought for his acts of heroism. The Techmarines felt it fitting he be placed in the armored sarcophagus of an Ironclad dreadnought where he continues to serve to this day having earned heroic feats against Ork & Tyranid onslaughts alike. The weapon being held in his left hand is a seismic hammer, better seen here: http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x84/red_starrise/40K/Imperial%20Fists/CIMG5122.jpg http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x84/red_starrise/40K/Imperial%20Fists/CIMG5121.jpg The DCCW has had the shoulder converted/scratchbuilt & been repositioned, the digits have been removed & rebuilt as more of a hand as well. http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x84/red_starrise/40K/Imperial%20Fists/CIMG5125.jpg http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x84/red_starrise/40K/Imperial%20Fists/CIMG5124.jpg http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x84/red_starrise/40K/Imperial%20Fists/CIMG5123.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/237912-ironclad-pip/#findComment-2870179 Share on other sites
