R0N1N
Here's a question I have that I have not seen answered anywhere. When a Droppod with lets say 5 marines & 2 librarians drop in, can the librarians split of from the squad when they get out of the pod? I know you can combat squad a 10 man unit when they get out, but what about IC's that joined the squad to pod in? The reason I'm asking was thinking that it can be very surprising (and totally unexpected) to your enemy should you pod in marines and 2 libbies attached to them, then once they hit the ground the libbies split of giving you 3 units that can shoot. Lets say it is a 5 man sterngaurd they melta something and then the libbies use Fear of the Dark on the unit inside, or Bloodlance something else in range. I know it is just absolutely ridiculous to think of throwing away points like that, but it would still be interesting to know if something like this was possible at all. Morollan
The IC's can split from the squad if they disembark the Drop Pod out of coherency with the rest of the squad.

Would be a really bad idea though. Not uniformly, but much of the time.
