Sigvid Stormbrow

So Sigvid is my rune priest that I use in every one of my lists. In my blog I have his introductory story as well as an additional saga inspired by a gane against some Tyranids in which when needed, he detached from some Long Fangs to engage in close combat with a Trygon Prime. Well he has done it again in a tournament this last weekend and I will have to write yet another saga for his deeds.

 

On Saturday versus another Space Wolves player, he successfully blocked 4 turns of attemptsthe by my opponent to use a psychic power. When my opponent did likewise, Sigvid decided to teach the upstart rune whelp that depending on psychic might alone was not the way of the rune priest. Meeting him one on one in hand to hand, Sigvid proceeded knock him unconscious, solidifying a 2-1 win with claimed objectives.

I'm thinking of building a small display diorama for my hero miniatures to stand in, maybe fashioned after an office or a temple alcove. After every victory, I'd mount something on the wall of the diorama, like a purity seal or a Tyrannid's head mounted on a tiny balsa wooden commemorative plaque. Maybe a "purple heart" purple purity seal each time or every 5 time he dies or such.

 

This recent post reminded me of the idea again. ^_^
