Oh Look! Anbother Primarch with fangs <_<

Every space marine has enlarged incisors.

except he has enlarged canines.

Darkchild

I'm sure that is what he meant.

Good thing I ain't a dentist. ;)

I concur with 'meh' faction.

This rendition is cool and awesome provided this is Angron after being corrupted or before his discovery. But even then the face doesn't work for me, it doesn't look like a Primarch, as good as the artwork may be overall. Same with Guilliman on the cover of "Know no Fear", neither this Angron's face nor that of Guilliman convey a sense of a demi-god transhuman warrior.

I direct your worthy attention once more to Angron as depicted in collected visions

This is a Primarch: http://images.wikia.com/warhammer40k/image...orld_Eaters.jpg

Wonderfull artwork !! can't wait for the actual novel ..

is this also a limited edition ?? or a normal release ?

Audiobook.

:) ah no no no.. I don't like the audiobooks that much, the Garro ones don't sound that great..

I'm not usually a fan either but A D-B's other effort, Throne of Lies, was great so I'll be picking this one up for sure.

That's actually pretty cool! Probably the best Angron picture I've seen so far.

If your thirteen yeh, it could be!

Hells with that. I perfer my Primarchs to have a touch of humanity and look lethal as possible like the Butcher's Nails art. The old art (the one Capt. Taurus posted earlier) makes Angron look like a stand in for a Marilyn Manson music video. Angron's supposed to be a monsterous, gladitorial, bloodthirsty demi-god; not a painted-up, cartoony, freakish, comic book bad guy.

And before you say it, I'm 28.

As always, Master Blanche knows best. I can see Neil Roberts nails a few aspects of the original artwork (though I'm not saying that was his intention, he might've got there on his own), like the "hair".

The problem is, even though he might look Marilyn Mansonish (I don't think so, this is pre-heresy style, it's supposed to be all gothic and full of intricate details even on the biggest brute), Angron has always been depicted as the snarly type. I just think this artwork makes him too...brutish. Still, like I said before, it makes some sense if Neil Roberts went for the gladiatorial days. It's a different era from that Visions of Heresy artwork. I just like the later Angron more.

I was refering to the previous posted "white face, no pupils" Angron posted earlier being Manson-ish. Mr. Blanche has always been an excellent 'concept artist', and has had a huge hand in defining what 40k looks like. I love his ideas, just personally, not his style itself.

BTW, I can almost see the Butcher's Nails art being more like Angron's teenage years.

Well I think Angron deserves more development. I see this picture and I see a berserker not a Primarch. Nice picture mind you but it is just a barbarian in space. Too shallow for a Primarch even if it is one of the more one-dimensional ones... We really need to see some other attributes of Angron, something to place him up there with the rest. If he is a complete phyco all the time then it's just uninteresting and boring. I'm sure BL will do soemthing to show him a bit more complex than that. I'm not looking for a redeeming feature, but just some awesomeness away from the phycho-killer profile.

Picture is good but as I said what I'm seeing is a crazed berzerker - not a Primarch.

EDIT: I guess a way to depict him would be a Barbarian King rather than a Barbarian Berserker. Still brutal and straight forward in his thinking but also shrewd enough to understand politics on some level and also being able to understand war on a grand scale rather than just a given battlefield. I recently read "After Desh'ea" and I was very unimpressed by Angron's depiction. A complete phycho... Anyway I'm sure BL will work on his personality and look forward for the Buthcer's Nails...

Sucks to be you Semper. Desh'ea is the way Angron is now. He's Spartacus not Lemon Russ (Who is the Barbarian King who also pretends to be stupid). I can't think of a single time Angron's been shown as tactful or anything. ADBs depiction in some extract I read before, was a primarch with the urge to kill at all times and who was fighting that urge. He's a windup kill machine. And he makes his entire legion in his image.
