Ravenger
I was just wondering if anyone had came across this when building up their force, I don't know which Librarian model to use and attach a jump pack to. also if anyone had some images i would appreciate them when making my decision. I was thinking of using the Ezekiel model and cut some of the dark angel components off. RebG
Ezekiel is a good model and only actually has one tiny DA logo that'd need removing. I've just tried slapping a jump pack on him though and it's not quite a fit. I caon't get photo's onto this computer unfortunately but basically his right shoulder (behind his head) is too high and means you'd have to take a fairly obvious chunk out of the pad or the pack. It means the standard jump pack leans back at an odd angle. The Sang Guard pack (single jet) doesn't quite fit either as the front vent clashes on his hood, although this could be trimmed back tidily to sit better. As for my Librarian it's made from the Grey Knight kit with some BA bits added. Photo's later if I can get on the other computer. Forgefather Vulkan
I used one of the Sang Guard models, all you need is in that box. You can make a nice "casting warpy-ness" with one of the hands. works a treat Forgefather Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/238417-jump-pack-librarian-help/#findComment-2875548 Share on other sites

I was thinking of using the Ezekiel model and cut some of the dark angel components off. Best way would be to go on a bits site and order a Grey Knight in Power Armour torso BACK. That has what equates to a psychic hood in it. Then you can mix in whatever BA parts you want. SG Chest plate, Death Co chest pieces. Whatever you like. It's what I would do. Nemisor
i just used the normal libby model with a new left arm and a spare sang guard jump pack. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z110/andrewbartosh/2011%20log/P1040093.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/238417-jump-pack-librarian-help/#findComment-2875581 Share on other sites
Brother Chris
Mine is kitbashed from DA (hooded habit head, torso and legs. DA jump pack and left arm, SG right arm force weapon. I would have used some grey knight bits (lots of books and psychic hood) if it had come out, Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/238417-jump-pack-librarian-help/#findComment-2875591 Share on other sites
Ravenger
Like the ideas, I don't have any grey knights to kitbash but i may invest if it looks good. Wow, that forgeworld one on coolminiornot is amazing! Brightguy
I used this one. All my JP models are running and he was the one with the most running looking pose. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/...dId=prod1050252 JP went on fine. Bumped up a little against the hood, but was clear of the shoulder pads. I extended the model's back a little with green stuff and was good to go. Iskandur
Grey Knight kitbash (sorry he's so dark, I can't get him to photograph brighter) http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2011/5/14/221290_md-Jump%20Pack,%20Librarian,%20Space%20Marines.JPG Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/238417-jump-pack-librarian-help/#findComment-2878166 Share on other sites
Drachnon
I use Ezekiel, had no problem with the jump pack. Might be because I'm using an old metal one :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/238417-jump-pack-librarian-help/#findComment-2878208 Share on other sites
Grizzly Adams
i used the JP from the Sanguinary Guard kit. Had to green stuff a spacer to make room for it, but it turned out pretty sweet i think Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/238417-jump-pack-librarian-help/#findComment-2878231 Share on other sites
Slmounge
I am converting a Librarian to have a jump pack by simply taking my Chaplain with a jump pack, and using green stuff to extend his crozius into a force staff and filling in some of the more gaunt looking areas of his helmet. Sorry about the lack of photos. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/238417-jump-pack-librarian-help/#findComment-3152831 Share on other sites

ajefferism
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7189/6982668863_11620d0efd.jpg I used an old metal librarian model and magnetized a sang guard jump pack to his back. The jump pack alone looks like an ancient version of the jump pack... like some sort of relic. Remtek
I use the Forgeworld jump packs on some special char's. Easy to spot them when playing.
