Lord Frost
If you assault a Rhino and destroy it and the contents get out, are you locked in combat with the sqaud now? I don't think you are as the transport and the squad are two units that were just co-habitating. also are there no leadership modifiers when taking a test for casualties from shooting? Thanks. JamesI
You are not locked in combat with the guys inside. There are no modifiers to leadership for shooting casualties. thade
Read that assault chapter. ;) Then read the transport sub-section of the Vehicles chapter for particulars. What JamesI said is correct. <3 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/238474-assaulting-transports/#findComment-2876324 Share on other sites

Grey Mage
A small- and possibly nitpicky- correction: There are occaisionally modifiers for leadership, or more specificly morale checks, caused by shooting weapons. Ordnance Barrage for example causes your pinning check at a -1 modifier. Something Wycked
I wouldn't call it nitpicky, just thorough :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/238474-assaulting-transports/#findComment-2876696 Share on other sites
