Tomlev40
I love it! Boy has that Sgt seen some battles. The weathering is brilliant and gives him that air of knowledge that all Sgts should have. Lysimachus
Very nice! The scheme reminds me almost exactly of Desert Eagle's Desert Eagles (:P) but the painting/weathering is extremely well done! Edit: That sounds like a criticism, doesn't it? Not intended that way, it's a really nice scheme! :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/238545-tempest-hawk-devastator-sergeant/#findComment-2877862 Share on other sites

Dam13n
Zincite, Tomlev 40, Zxyogi, Grimdarkness, UltraRich - Thanks Muchly... LostBritain - I gave the recipe above, some advice would be to make sure the "washes" are thinned to the point that the paint is just becoming translucent and after applying, smooth any obvious "watermark" with a clean brush so you get a nice blended transition, the other important things would be to make sure each wash is dry before applying the next and obviously, practice will help you improve... Ludovic - Maybe some more white marines but unlikely to do the exact same scheme again, I painted him in my local GW for a "design a chapter" competition so will likely remain a solitary figure... The temptation to buy a whole load of Mk5 from forgeworld and use this white for a load of PH Worldeaters is pretty strong though... Maybe if some extra money comes my way soon... :-) Lysimachus - I know the models you are referring to, I'd be lying if I said that they weren't an influence as they are really cool models. Thanks again for the feedback... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/238545-tempest-hawk-devastator-sergeant/#findComment-2878128 Share on other sites
