Greetings brothers and sisters. It'll due time that i've gotten underway with the formation of a new great company. I've been about the fang, i've inquired with the older wolves, and now i feel it's time to begin showing the fruits of my research thus far. I've allready receaved my first two packs, and what a glorious sight it is to lay them out before myself.

I've spent most, if not all, of last night clipping out, cleaning up, and sorting the various componants of the packs into a makeshift bits box, the onlythings still remaining on sprue are the weapons and arms at the moment.

I've still got two boxes of Tactical Marines on the way to swell the packs to fourty men, two 'reclaimed' Rhinos taken to be purged from those sorcerous fools of the thousand sons, as well as an Attack Bike to play around with, see if i can't get my eager blood-claw gunner standing in.. well.. on.. the side car. Now, i need to pick up some paints aswell for my wolves. I'm aiming for a blue-grey color, but im not quite sure which paints in the vallejo range i want to use. I've been looking at the 'Sea-grey' colors, as well as the different 'blue-grey' colors... though with those ones, does anyone know the difference betwen 'pale blue-grey' and 'pale grey-blue'?

As work progresses ill continue to update the progress as it comes.

I second the bits boxes from Michaels. I have 5 full of bits (19 yrs of collecting will do that...).

Also, I built about 90 Wolves at once, and the best method I found to make sure you get a nice mix of bits per Pack is the do a layout.

Lay out the legs in packs of 10 or so, making sure you have them split up evenly or however you wish. Then lay out the torsos so you don't duplicate the models. It allows you to make each Wolf a unique model unto themselves.

I also highly recommend magnetizing all of the arms so you can change weapons over the years or depending on your army builds.

So my two recovered rhino's came in today. One was easy enough to pull some of the chaos bits off of, the other one gave me alittle bit of trouble, it seems like that one has either too much super glue, or a bit of plastic glue mixed in with some of the parts. I'll have to do abit of recovery work on the currently bare plastic one, the front pannel where the ram attaches pulled off, and i'll have to figure out something to do to replace both copala's, if i dont simply greenstuff them closed. Once i get those taken care of, ill prime over them to get them ready for that next phase. as always, Pictures.

Allright, so i know its been a while since i updated, i've done alittle bit of word since my last post, i've gotten everything build up so far that i have, most of them though still have the pack packs, and the shoulder pads off, to make painting abit easier, but, im still debaiting on that one right now. I've also gotten done a single test figure for a paint scheme. I did a base coat of Vallejo Dark Blue Grey, followed by a wash of devlin mud. re-layer with the Dark blue grey, then a coat of grey blue, and a highlight a 1:1 mix of grey blue, and pale grey blue. Im not too sure if i like it so far, but either way, heres what i've got to show you today.
