Those are awesome......if you ever wanted to sell them you could put me down for some.

Thanks! They'll be available in my store in the next couple of weeks ;)

I too hope you have enough when you release this. I will be setting aside money for it first chance I get. I really like the talon version of it.

Also just a side question, do you plan to make a 00 version of the liberator pattern tracks?

Yes, I do plan to make a Pattern 00 Liberator tread at some point to complete the collection. Just need to find the time :)

The wait is nearly over. I cleaned up the first casts, made some modifications to the seat based on feedback, and am now in full production mode.

The first batch of Mako and Talon Assault Speeders will go on sale in my eBay store on Friday December 16th at 7:00 Eastern Standard Time. I will also have a limited number of GW Space Marine Bike Riders for sale.

Well a number of people have been asking me about making another variant of the assault speeder that looks a bit more like the one seen in those art books about some guy stuck on a gold toliet and his son who's suffering from daddy issues. So I finally sat down and started gluing plastic together. Here's what I have thus far:

Once this is finished I'll be making a matching set of engines to go along with it. The rest will use the same bits as the other assault speeders. As always, much to do....

I'm terrible for moving onto new projects before finishing current ones, but i promised myself that this time i'd finish what i'm working on before starting something else. However that promise is now going to be very hard to keep being that my next planned project is Custodes, and that new jetbike design looks truely awesome. Add some side mounted bolters and an eagle on the top and i know i won't be able to resist.

Speaking of current projects, i've been meaning to send you a message. I was perusing the Chaos logs on Warseer for some inspiration for my 40K barbarian Khorne army when i came across your amazing tower of skull/chaos bastion. I seem to recall you saying in the thread that the molds for the first version had degraded, but i can't remember if you said anything about ones for the second version. So i just wanted to know if you can still make the parts , and if so do you have any plans to sell them again at any point?

Any chance you've started on the "Attack bike" version yet?? I really like all of the versions so far and will be purchasing some as soon as my budget permits....

Cheers,

Jono

I haven't started on it yet but I plan to launch this newest variant along with the "Combat Speeder" version in all three variants in the next few months.

As you can imagine I cannot copy exactly what's in the art books but I can do my own take on it. It will have a pair of guns along side the "nose" but there will be no wings or eagle, that a little beyond my sculpting capabilities. But the wings from the Blood Angels honor guard may fit well....

As for the Tower of Skulls/Skull Tower, the molds are still useable for the latest one. Send me a PM and we can discuss.

@Brother Delacroix: A very easy way to get the Eagle can be made from the ravenwing sprues, check out my LPC thread to see what I mean, I've one on a Kromlech Iron Shark. I'll try edit in a linky.

Work has been going slow but there is progress! The engine is mostly done, just needs the detail. I'll be adding some small wings onto them as well. They should be ready by late April.

From the front that last one reminds me of a stylised Big Cat head or the Thundertank

Maybe you could call them "Thunder" class?

Epic work in all

Yeah I didn't notice the feline look to it until someone else pointed it out to me. As I let the guys over at DakkaDakka name the first two, how about I let you guys name this one? :)

Greetings guys, I have a couple of updates for you today.

Here are a couple of teaser pics of the Thunder variant Assault Speeder. The engines on this project have been giving me nothing but problems in how they look, but I finally came up with something that looks good.

The production molds for the Thunder variant should be done this week but I thought I'd share something else I'm also working on....

Oh yes, the Heavy Assault Speeder is coming to life! This version will allow you to have a second model behind the pilot that can be anything from a character to a trooper with a heavy weapon.

Still a lot to do but it's coming along nicely. With any luck these too will be available by the end of the month.
