ezekiel09
here is the wolf lord for my non-chaos renegade company the Direwolves. The color schemes are based on House Stark from the Game of Thrones novels. The pics were taken with my iPhone... Let me know what you think. http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/6169/1316555400194.jpg http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/1967/1316555560099.jpg http://img545.imageshack.us/img545/5365/1316555636739.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/238803-wolf-lord-on-thunderwolf/ Share on other sites

ezekiel09
I mixed elmer's glue and snow flock and made a slurry put of it, applied it to the base and then added more snow flock on top of that to make it look flaky. Oh and thaks! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/238803-wolf-lord-on-thunderwolf/#findComment-2880906 Share on other sites

Wulfebane
Can't stand any of the 3rd party TWC models, so the fact that I like yours says something. Kinda wish you had some reins GS'd or plasticarded up to his shield arm though. Oh, and the base rocks. ezekiel09
very nice where is the shield from? The shield is from one of the Orc box sets for Fantasy (not sure which one anymore) and the Wolf head is from the Space Wolf squad box. Beef
nice model, shame the pics are not very clear, Not a fan of the TW due to its smallish size but you have painted it very well. Agreed nice model. What is happening with your photo is not enough front light. Your camera is compensating for all the light coming from the back so what you need is more of the same kind of light coming from the front, such as sunlight or florescent. If you do this the color on the armor will come through better. ezekiel09
Thanks for the info, the pics were taken with my iphone in the kitchen, using a towel as the back drop. This is the first time I have ever posted any of my mini's anywhere or really taken pics of them.
