greendestiny
I was looking at various interesting historical tanks. I came across the M4 Sherman Crab Minesweeper Tank from WWII. I thought it would be a fun conversion but wanted to see if any of you have done it? Either way please share your tank conversions here: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/238877-tank-conversions/ Share on other sites

Warsmith Aznable
You know, for all that I didn't think you had too much on there until I saw the smoke grenade launchers on the inside of the assault ramp. You're a madman Grotsmasha. Report to your unit's assigned AdMech liaison officer for either a medal or an intense session of "re-education", depending on what mood he's in (perhaps both). Cheers Max, back in the day, when the VDRs were in use, this bad boy came to 1495pts, and I would take on IG Amoured Companies and steam roll them, aahhhhh, the memories... But it has real easy. All I did was glue two LR's together and strengthen the joins with a 1cm plasticard strip on the inside, out of view. Brother Immolator
Looks like those big berha german artillery pieces.Though i doubt that the razor would handle the recoil. fivepointedstar
How did you do the twin inferno cannons on the sponson and the vindicator stuff on the front that is really nice and very well painted? Thanks I've now changed it since that pic to the twin heavy flamers from the bane blade kit. makes it less awesome. Also how I did that was; each flamestorm cannon has a small hole on each side that allows the person that has the new Crusader/ Redeemer kit to "snap on" the sponson of there choosing. I had purchased two kits so it allowed me to double up on flamestorm cannons. greendestiny
Somogyi, I really like your dune buggy/landspeeder. Do you use it as a pred or as something else? Do you have any more pics of it? Deathknight2000- thanks for the explanation. It is a really great set up, do you have pics of the changed model? If they can be built to handle the recoil of a demolisher cannon which is a much bigger shell I'd think a rhino chassis could handle an earthshaker, especially if a chimera chassis can. However, it'd probably need some sort of legs/bracers to plant it before setup & firing to stabilize it. NemFX
I'll break out the camera later, but.. Glitter is glued on to make camo (once it's dried, i paint it) Wooden beads are glued on for extra food/liquid/fuel storage (i use small strips of paper to make them look strapped on) Different wooden beads (with same paper technique) to look like spare tank 'tires' stuff like that.
