he looks nice

wish I had a job, let alone one I could paint minis at, heh

think my professors would get mad if I pulled out minis and paints? There are people on laptops surfing the web every day, why not paint? Maybe I can find a modeling class?

For the battle damage have you tried the sponge method?

take a little bit of the sponge stuff you used to get in the metal blisters ( or similar material) tear a little piece off

mix your highest highlight colour with a touch of white to make it a bit lighter.

Dab the sponge in the mix, dab in on kitchen paper similar to preping for drybrushing.

dab the painty sponge on the model in the areas where you want

once dry take a fine detail brush or what ever your smallest brush is...

fill in the dabs with fenris grey with a tiny tiny touch of black, et viola!

But in fairness my friend your battle damage looks convincing enough as it is

Your damage looks good :Troops:

It is not really my cup of tea, but that is not the question :Troops:

Rupert did some Deffwing Termiez with a sponge:

If you like it, you can find him on 3++ is the new black.

@ wolf363839 I did the space by priming with black first.

@ hendrik. I am always around, I just dont post as much anymore, Its a young pups forum, the older members just come in once in a while for an ale,

As for the base it will be snow covered, I know its a cliche but I never did it in the past so for me it will be new.

@ ironbear & Marshal Wilhelm, I will try the sponge method, I tried it years back without much luck but perhaps it time to gve it another go.
