ShinyRhino
Old models? I have a few: Old school meltagunner: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z43/goalie20/Warhammer%2040K/meltagunner.jpg Old metal Dreads: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z43/goalie20/Warhammer%2040K/castorpolluxfinalfront.jpg Old metal Attack Bike: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z43/goalie20/Warhammer%2040K/bikesquad1-3.jpg Original Stronos Razorback (with replacement turret hatches): http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z43/goalie20/Warhammer%2040K/razor1.jpg That's all I have photos of, but I have a couple more metal Marines that match that meltagunner, another metal attack bike (plus parts for four more), and some other random old-school models. The old metal stuff has so much character to it. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239014-old-models/page/2/#findComment-2893886 Share on other sites
Sons of the Forge
The only RT peice I own is the original Conversion Beamer which is now used as an arm mounted CB on my MoF. I also own 4 3rd edition marines. Used to have the old whirlwind from im guessing 2nd/3rd edition but I sadly cut it up and destroyed it :) shame was my first ever tank. EDIT: on a more positive note my Rule Book/Templates/dice,etc have turned up all for like £13 love ebay............GW charge me +£35 for a book I THINK NOT! Zincite
I now ruin this page of nicely painted models. Bought a box of old-school Genestealers from a Charity Shop yesterday, and amid the 'Nids, some old Blood Bowl miniatures and a few Necromunda figures, I found this little gem... Old Techmarine figure! I've since scraped off the Green paint spill and pulled him off the base, and he's literally good as new, with the exception of the fact he's missing a backpack. I've no idea what the other figure was though. A Bionic Veteran Sergeant, perhaps? Red Fury
This is some of the oldest powered armor I have, I wouldn't dare post any of that vintage xenos stuff here: http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll275/RedFury77/40k/P1020144.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll275/RedFury77/40k/P1020147.jpg I still have a bunch of the marines from the 2nd Ed starter box too, just no pictures handy. Clip on arms and torsos (which could swivel around a pin on the hips). Got some of these, too. Hemal
Not at all that was its nickname, iirc. i have two of them sitting in simple green - crud paint jobs from yesteryear, but will paint them up as loyalist dreads with modern weaponry slotted in for the older stuff. Ironwulf
Some guy here in Oz has Gene Stealers on Horseback for sale on ebay - since when did Gene Stealers ride horses? The Genestealers on horseback were intended as hybrids as part of a Genestealer cult army, based around a Genestealer Patriarch. There were 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation hybrids that comprised the cult, with several of those hybrids intended to look more or less human (sometimes having 3 or 4 arms), and to be modeled using the plastic Imperial Guard soldiers of the time. (This was before GW came out with the various styles of IG soldiers from Catachan, Cadia, Valhalla, etc.) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239014-old-models/page/2/#findComment-2902238 Share on other sites

shorty
sorry to bust your bubbles but these are no GW miniatures...they are Ripp Offs produced by a Company called Enigma Miniatures (NOT the Enigma Company today !!)...they also had a crazy Chaos Cybot, Squats, Space Elves and everything else...some cool some not... I have the "Not Terminators" from that Company and they look crap if you dont hybrid these with parts of the normal GW range...I still got their heads leftover because they look Terrible...but the Squats i have look real cool...like the prototype Cyber Slayers GW did long ago... ;-) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239014-old-models/page/2/#findComment-2905443 Share on other sites
