adary
I was at my good friend's today working on some models (me on my space wolves, and him on his nurgelly gurgelly CSM army), and I just couldn't resist taking these photos: http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh144/westarSWC/misc/workday/IMG_1026.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh144/westarSWC/misc/workday/IMG_1028.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh144/westarSWC/misc/workday/IMG_1027.jpg The scenery used is a part of a HUGE project that should be finished in about a year, and it involves larger than standard (8'x5') game table, craploads of scenery, and about 20.000 points of models ripping at each other. The only rule is that only a fully painted army plays. Here is a glimpse of the WiP table and buildings (the fat guy is me ) http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh144/westarSWC/misc/workday/IMG_1017.jpg And if anyone wanted to know what fuels old wargamers, here is the answer: http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh144/westarSWC/misc/workday/IMG_1021.jpg (accent on beer, beer, and more beer) Once we get some games under way I will make sure to update with battle reports ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239049-this-is-how-we-roll/ Share on other sites
DIDM
well it is easy to see that there is at least one Wolf player, there is a beer, well a few, so I'm assuming a few Wolf players? adary
The other beer drinker today was my friend who is currently working on a large chaos army that includes a fair number of Thousand Sons (Ahriman already done) so we are sort of perfect enemies (and very good friends as well) ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239049-this-is-how-we-roll/#findComment-2884392 Share on other sites

Quillen
Heck I love Dominos now. Just tell them to not add the garlic to the crust and it's the same pizza. Kami
that's really nice terrain with the wire and rusty bits. in my group people tend to get lazy when it comes to painting buildings, but it really makes a difference for the atmosphere. i got the fortress of redemption last month and enjoyed playing planetstrike with it last weekend, fully painted with all the rusty floor. added some scrivelings on the walls where you can see that the fortress changed occupiers several times. and of course, bloody footprints here and there. it feels like the buildings can tell their own story then. so i like what i see on your pics! I guess living in a rainy state pays off once and for all! I want to actually try making a rust wash type thing, powder rust in a coffee grinder and mix with windex, experiment with ratios and such. Why not use the real thing? and there is salt in the rain already, it is ocean water Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239049-this-is-how-we-roll/#findComment-2885186 Share on other sites
