Bulldogging
I wasn't taking my time on this one, and I paid for it. The "floor pan" wasn't fully inserted in the back of one of the sides, this leaves a small gap on the back of the model. I can still fully assemble it with just a slight warping of the roof, but The rear door is not square and it is driving me crazy. I tried putting it in the freezer for a few hours to no avail, and I currently having it sitting in simplegreen. I use a lot of superglue..unfortunately, and I cannot seem to get it apart. Any other ideas? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239098-messed-up-on-gleuing-one-of-my-rhinos/ Share on other sites

Lucien Eilam
If you used superglue, you should be able to get it apart. Soaking it in hot water and gently flexing the plastic should break the bond eventually, although if you used a lot it's going to take time and a few cycles. Superglue remover might help, but I don't know which brands are safe on plastic. I've only ever used it on metal miniatures. I've always used plastic weld and a brush to assemble tanks. You can hold the whole thing together and paint it into the joins. Almost impossible to disassemble after it sets, but because you're putting it exactly where you want it, you can make sure that's on joints that are in exactly the right position. Bulldogging
Freezer twice, simplegreen 12 hours, Xacto knife in non visible places...and I finally got it apart. Reassembled the right way and all is well.
