I painted those to table top quality (possibly a little better, depending on your taste :( ). Well i decided it was time for a change and with this army i decided I would put a lot more effort into the painting/basing side of things. Ch@oZ Posted September 25, 2011 Share Posted September 25, 2011 Nice work so far- i like the light grey colour. Is the sternguard marine going to be painted in the same way? He looks pretty nice the way he's painted now, too. As for the lone wolf- to make him more wolfy he'll need 2 things: 1.Sideburns- because they are awesome and because most of the wolves seem to have them 2.Put some wolf skulls, that are always lying around onto his chest-shield, codpiece or shin armour. For the Lysander conversion, I would definitely remove the Imperial Fists icon from his greave for starters. If you're sculpting skills are up to it, I'd add facial hair of some kind and sculpt the icon of his great company on the shield chained to his chest. If I had to offer any crit, I'd say you should make the wolf's head the back of Lysander's hammer rather than the front, much like the old Iron Priest? I second the motion to try the hammer with the wolf head at the back. That be some seriously tidy painting, I really like them.
