Dusktiger Posted September 25, 2011 Share Posted September 25, 2011 so i got asked to build and paint a thunderhawk gunship for a friend after it sat untouched for almost 18 months after he bought it. here's the photos of the process. *note; i dont recommend buying one of these if you don't like working on models that need a large amount of fixing before assembly can take place. for a model that's cast to-order, there was zero quality control taken to make this kit fit correctly, or look symmetrical. you'll see int he photos what i mean.* Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dusktiger Posted September 25, 2011 Author Share Posted September 25, 2011 the person it was built for has a dread with similar minor red trim, so i tried to add that in to make it fit with his army better. that's pretty much the only reason. i actually toned the red down as you can see in the pics because i thought it was becoming too ultramarine 3rd co. That's cause as I understand it, crew that are permanently attached to a vehicle tend to where admech red, like techmarines. So that's why the crew's red.
