Billy Butcher
Well, I'm about to part with these guys, so as well as photos to help on the bay, I wanted them for posterity and thought I'd share them with you guys. There's some old ones in here ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239606-death-guard-army/ Share on other sites
Cynic
Nice looking Plaguemarines there. Although the metal backpacks on the last squad could use a bit more corrosion. Firepower
A bit odd looking with essentially two different color schemes being used (dull green and bone) but I can understand how such things happen, and they're both appropriately nasty all the same. I'd like to know how you managed the dirty bone scheme in particular :woot:. Also, I'm inclined to agree that the last squad has a few too many still shiny and pristine bitz showing through their corruption. Billy Butcher
Doh! edit time, just realised I'd posted a squad twice instead of the fourth squad, now fixed. I think the shine is more a trick of the light as they have an old corroded look in reality (my lightbox died so i had to improvise an answer). Zincite
I remember those old models from the Third Edition rulebook. It's nice to see them with a proper paint job. Did you use WHFB zombie heads on some of them? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239606-death-guard-army/#findComment-2891056 Share on other sites
Billy Butcher
I actually acquired them mostly built and painted a long time ago, all I did was to bring them to a more uniform level of finish, dirtied them down more and swopped a few things out to make them codex legal so that they really looked and played like a cohesive army.
