*Furyou Miko
... Sorcerously Enhanced combi-bolters. Huh. Or the Knights could be a successive-founding chapter that then fell, if you wanted to make them all part of the same unit originally. I still like my idea best though. :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240001-knights-of-the-raven-god/page/2/#findComment-2900599 Share on other sites
nurglez
Psychically enhanced shooting weapons? Psychic attacks that count as shooting attacks? Maybe them sending off their familiars hits like a storm bolter/psycannon? Its easy if you put your mind to it (pun intended). thade
I would model distinctive mage-like marines as counts-as psycannons, but again these would be very sparring in a force if I did this: mostly cultists is the way I'd go to capitalize on variety and coolness. As for making them a "fallen GK successor, I don't recommend that path. GK don't fall and they have only one successor...an ongoing experiment called the Exorcists. Straight up Tzeentch casters is def the way to go here. EDIT: Wrong chapter name. @_@ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240001-knights-of-the-raven-god/page/2/#findComment-2900696 Share on other sites
*Furyou Miko
Even when I wrote that, I didn't think they were a GK[/] successor... technically, the GK aren't First Founding either, though. GK don't fall and they have only one successor...an ongoing experiment called the Executioners. Straight up Tzeentch casters is def the way to go here. Thade, the ongoing experiment is the Excorsists, not the Executioners (not trying to be a jerk) but what if we modelled something as another chapter (like the Exorcists and the Silver Skulls) who deeply support the Grey Knights and constantly look for possible recruits. Somehow maybe they could've been given some of the similar technology for helping out so much with the Inquisition. I'll amend that post. And fat chance the strongest arm of the Inquisition Daemonhunters will relinquish any of their rare and amazing gear. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240001-knights-of-the-raven-god/page/2/#findComment-2900845 Share on other sites
