BloodTzar
I was thinking of HG/VV's that would use 4SS+3LC+1TH (For VV's there would be IP+LC). I would like to use Assault terms bitz however i have no idea how to put them togheter with shoulder pads as well. How did you make them guys? PLS post pics... Thank you in advance. ~BT Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240087-vanguard-vets-honour-guard/ Share on other sites
BLACK BLΠFLY
Saw the arms off at the elbow. It's easy once you get the hang of it. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_f2aZroPOOS4/TGl8vLtO4aI/AAAAAAAAAC8/qpBPgLWEFgA/s320/VV%20vets%20article%201.jpg G Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240087-vanguard-vets-honour-guard/#findComment-2897085 Share on other sites
vharing
I have been making lighting claws with termi ones, and WOC shields. Cutting the arms just below the elbow, like Black Orange says, really works. BLACK BLΠFLY
I also use large axes to represent lightning claws. They look really cool too (see the picture above). BloodTzar
Well, great work Orange, moreover many thanks for help guys. I am still bit curious what did you do with the "cable" that is somehow connected to shoulder? vharing
I run it up behind the shoulder pad and tack it to the arm. Or cut it off and use guitar string. Jorre
Guitar string is great! But don't use your favorite clippers to cut it!! Guitar strings are Surprisingly hard and I ruined a good pair of clippers cutting it Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240087-vanguard-vets-honour-guard/#findComment-2898239 Share on other sites
dadieau
I carve down the shoulder of the Assault Terminators arm until a regular shoulder pad fits on it. No need make it pretty cause you are just going to cover it up. Evicerator
or you can get a hold of a couple of wolf pack lightning claw arms which are power armored. It's very easy to shave off the SW iconography on them. Before these were readily available I used to carve down the shoulder of a termy arm, but found that cutting the claw from the elbow worked better and looked more proportionate.
