I found this at a used book store today. Sorry, everyone; it was the only one.

It was in amazing condition and shows only a little shelf wear. There are no creases or bends in the covers, binding, or inner pages. All the pages appear to be there too.

Am I correct in thinking this is a Second Edition Space Wolf codex?

its so pretty and shiny....I must have one....

That's the shield boss creating the shine. I made the shield myself; I'm sure you could too. So you can have one.

The shield, that is. The book is mine, and you can pry it from my cold, dead fingers. Just remember I have an axe to go with that shield.

in my city we have the best new/used bookstore in the world

Powells

they either have or can get you almost anything, not just gaming books. You guys should check them out, they are the biggest independent new/used bookstore/s in the world. Their flagship store has more than a million books in it and is a city block and 4 stories.

nice find though, looks to be in next to new condition.

can you give me the ISBN? it is on the back in the barcode area

You kids with your internet. You can find almost anything with a little typing and clicking.

Don't steal my thunder. I went out on the hunt and returned with a mighty prize. This is the Space Wolf way! Not relying upon technology to sort and search and bring limitless prey to me. Where is the thrill of the hunt in that?

Pathetic (but admittedly, far more practical...)

I worked as I said, at the largest new/used book store in the world. This site is a good reference for pricing used books, so I just searched it. It is a giant group of used book stores, so you can find most anything on it.

But hey, be proud of yourself, used bookstores can be dusty odd places. You found a book that appears in perfect condition, and I imagine it was pretty cheap. Looking over the web isn't as fun as thumbing through the actual books. The surprise factor > easiness.

find everything on-line than, go ahead, find a soft cover lone wolves

Or even the hard cover (yes i own both and even a collection of graphic novels that has the story so i have it 3 times ;) )

Just found 3 online, you wont be happy <_<

Take it easy. I was just yanking your chain; that wasn't even light trolling for me. (I try hard not to troll the B&C). I was just expressing my middle-aged disgust at how easy things have gotten for collectors without slipping into a story that starts, "Back in my day..."

Plus, I used to manage two bookstores. And I am sick and tired of hearing about how *awesome* Powells is. If I had a quarter for... Oh, wait. Maybe I'm trolling. I should stop while I'm ahead.

sorry, obviously the interwebs are hard to translate

re read my post, nothing I said was in jest or said in a negative way. I just re explained how I knew about the site, and then said finding books in a store can actually be more rewarding. I think it is great that you found it, that is one great thing about used book stores, never know what you can find.

Please just re read, nothing I said is negative, it is all positive tward you. You found a gem, and at used book store prices, as I said, it must have been a steal.
