G. A. K.
I'm mostly a Ragnar/Grey Hunter guy at heart (I love large numbers of Furious Charging Space Wolves!!!) but with collection which contains one of every codex option I thought it was time to actually use them for a change instead of having them just hang out in the Fang getting drunk, telling tales of third edition battles. Therefore I've been trying my hand at a Loganwing list so I can use my termies for a change. here is the link to dakka, the batrep was produced by one of my opponents 'Eiluj The Farseer': http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/403197.page My 2000 point list: Logan Terminator Rune Priest- talisman, necklace WG Squad 1 (with Logan) -Ass Cannon, Wolf Claw -Wolf Claw x2 -Wolf Claw, Storm Shield -Thunderhammer, Storm Shield -Combi-Melta, Chainfist -Redemmer; Extra Armor, Multi-Melta WG Squad 2 (with Priest) -Cyclone Missle, Wolf Claw, Storm Shield -Wolf Claw, Storm Shield -Combi-melta, Power Weapon -2x Storm Bolter, Power Weapon WG Squad 3 -Cyclone Missle, Chainfist, Storm Shield -4x Storm Bolter, Power Weapon Long Fangs- 4 ML, 1 LC; Twin-Las Razorback Long Fangs- 4 ML, 1 LC Vindicator- Siegeshield Now this list isn't quite what I would like but it is what I have painted (or could easily assemble) so I made due with what i could muster. Any thoughts brothers... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240103-eldar-and-guard-vs-loganwing/ Share on other sites
Arez
Any thoughts brothers... Expensive, but you should be able to obliterate most enemies with it Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240103-eldar-and-guard-vs-loganwing/#findComment-2897598 Share on other sites
G. A. K.
it has worked so far, I'm 2-0. My first game was 1850 against Deathwing (I originally wrote the list as an 'all comers 1850 list). To get up to 2000 I added the las razorback, swopted out two ML for las cannons and added one SB, PW terminator. is it better to go for a more 'bare-bones' list without all the storm shields etc. and have more bodies or pay for all the extras and have units with more staying power. Ideally both in my opinion. If thats not possible got with what you have on your models Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240103-eldar-and-guard-vs-loganwing/#findComment-2897865 Share on other sites
Nrthstar
I go pretty bare bones. In each squad of tda i will however take at least 1 shield/hammer-fist-chainfist. If it's a big enough game i'll make that two. And whenever possible one of mg hammer/shields will be arjac. I'm not huge on combi's, but i will try to have at least a few combi meltas on the board. Really my long fangs, dreads or speeders will handle the armor Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240103-eldar-and-guard-vs-loganwing/#findComment-2897900 Share on other sites
