Baldsmug
Greetings from the rainy pacific northwest, namely Vancouver Washington or Americas Vancouver as some call it. I am very pleased to be a new member of this fine forum and discontinue my lurking. I have only recently gotten into 40k and so far I am having a lot of fun although I haven't actually played a single game yet lol. My chapter of choice is the Emperors Warbringers who according to the limited amount of fluff are IF successors. I planning on using the IA 9-10 rules for them which may be a bit of a challenge for a beginner but those are the rules I've pretty much always pictured spacemarines using, at least spacemarine siege specialists anyway. My army list is a bit on the pathetic side atm but I have master plan that i am working towards albeit very very excruciatingly slowly. I enjoy the hobby part so much that I am planning on eventually having a ridiculously huge army list just so i can paint and enjoy the models. So far I have 4 tac squads, a devastator squad and a venerable dreadnought which I know makes for kind of a weak list but I plan on making my own dense urban table so im not too worried, also i dont care if i lose most of the time. I think i have a pretty good base for an IA siege army so far with the dev squad giving me access to the rest of the siege options for now. Although I am having a good time building and painting I am not quite ready to invest too many funds into 40k yet as I haven't played a game or even really gotten in touch with the local gaming community. Plus I am a college student, married and have a one year old son so my hobby time is minimal at best. I am really focusing on painting and am ocd about it so it will still be quite some time before my army sees combat but when they do they will be lookin fly! I suppose i should wrap this up. It's a pleasure to be here and I look forward to interacting with this fine online community. I also have a dakkadakka blog with my wip stuff in it so I suppose i will include a link. Thanks for making it through the wall of text, see ya around :D WARBRINGERS!
