Marshall Dovian
Hi, Well to start off I'm not much of a poster more the silent browser but I read here daily and seeing how dedicated you zealots are, I thought I must share my progress with you. A bit of background: I suck at this game get served on a weekly basis and come back for more whooping, what I do enjoy is painting and generally getting my hands covered in gunk. I started with White Templar but soon realized my mistake and have since gone black, but slowly amounting a decent sized force. So my friend and I are starting a 20,000 pt campaign - he'll sort the rules side and I'll get to making some terrain. I dont know too much of whats in store special rules wise find that out tonight but what has got me excited, I have near enough finished (halfheartedly towards the end) a Black Templar Fortress Keep.......... Now why I think this is so great - I spent $34aus + all the bits and bobs I had in the shed and made a 1/3 section of board..........I feel like a winner :D THe bulk is MDF/Balsa wood and the good ol' masking tape newspaper plaster in a bucker lots a black spray cans Baking soda and leftovers Its not the best in the world and is coming away in some parts ......and the paintwork isn't top notch but it has functionality and a theme about it ;) I think my friend and I will have a few test games on it, then use it as the finally of the campaign in an Apoc match. Hope you guys like it More pics here also: hope to have some more after tonights battle Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240249-templar-terrain/ Share on other sites
