Jonah Posted October 16, 2011 Share Posted October 16, 2011 I'm running a shooty Terminator squad with a Gate of Infinity Librarian. It's good fun and often useful for contesting objectives. I was thinking of spicing it up a bit by adding a Master of the Forge with Conversion Beamer. At the squad's optimal range (18-24 inches) he would get a S8 AP 4 Blast. This goes to S10 AP 1 over 24 inches. Also if the Libby takes Curse of the Machine that gives the unit 2 chances to screw with enemy armour. He's expensive, but another reason for taking him is Bolster Defences, which would give my Telion-led sniper scouts a 2+ cover save. Has anyone tried this delicious threesome before?
