Refurbished Tactical Squads

After reading LOTS of posts regarding painting techniques I decided to strip and repaint some old tactical models and paint a new tac squad with the new technique.

My old paint scheme was much more brass/copper looking. The new scheme hopefully looks more realistic as gold armor I hope. Its not NMM, but I hope its simular.

First, I redid a set of Rogue Trader marines. We got these at least 15 years ago. Some may be part of the first group I bought for my older 2 boys back in 85 or so.

Next, I had a set of mk 8 that were painted in a camoflage pattern, so with a semi-new mk7 heavy weapon and a forgeworld flamer, they were redone. The Sergeant's storm bolter is a modified scout heavy bolter.

So we redid an Aobr squad to fill in and practice the scheme

The final squad was a mixture of forgeworld parts, space wolf and normal parts

Not going to lie to you...although your repainting of these marines is rather well done for a solid-color metallic, the 'burn burn' script looks like 'bum bum' which, considering it's a missile launcher, makes quite a bit of sense.

lol yes I see what you mean. I'll redo the name and maybe put a picture of the infamous rabbit just above it - thankee :)
