VAGABOND Posted October 19, 2011 Share Posted October 19, 2011 Haven't posted anything in here sometime and decided to stick up my new Contemptor Dreadnought I've been working on for a couple of days. As many of you know I have an all Sanguinary Guard army and after seeing the conversion opportunity with this model I had to work on one of my beloved Blood Angel army. I am working on a Contemtor Librarian myself, kind of a reward for the old Libby Dread i have for doing so well last weekend at ToS. Just a suggestion,wouldn't you be better off magnetizing the wings for easier transportation? VAGABOND Posted October 20, 2011 Author Share Posted October 20, 2011 The wings are from the High Elf Griffon in the Island Of Blood box, my mate who's a staffer said if I do the conversion he'd give me the wings. The model is currently drying after I touched up the black, I'll be painting it as soon as the paint is dry. I'll probably add another Furioso Dreadnought with Blood Talons at some point but not anytime soon. I'm trying to finish my Tyranid army and I've also got a full Chaos army at 2k to paint aswell. Beef Posted October 21, 2011 Share Posted October 21, 2011 I like the wings and the golden colour, i was not sure about the head untill I say it painted, i had an image that you would paint it flesh tones as if the marine was plugged into the suit. Are you planning on converting other stuff for your Sang Guard? Maybe a pair of Typhoons with golden colours and angelic wings? I'm gonna be taking my SG into GW this week for some games since I've been playing Deathwing religiously for 8 months for Tournament Practice.
