Felkor
I was using the Army Painter color primer Platemail metal, to perform the first application, very similar to chainmail. After that, badab black (generous application) 2 times, drybrush with mithril silver, and one other Badab black application. And a little bit of Devlan "Magic" Mud to finish ! Felkor
Hello everyone ! Sorry, it was a looong time :P Don't have so much time these last months (and less motivation, too). But I'm back ! Some new stuff here ! Ironclad BT (Yes, I know, not a 'dex unit, but hunestly, I don't care!) with Nemesis weapons. Also, a little conversion of the chest. He is fully magnetized, so we can play with it ! WIP of a Titan knight ^_^ And WIP of a Drop Pod By the way, I'm searching advices : how can I treat white? I would like it dirty, but I do not know how I can do that. Trignama
Dude I like that dread, it looks beast! And you must have a really nice camera, those pics are very crisp! T14
Welcome to the B&C Felkor. That is some mighty inspired modelling you have going on. The idea to use a split FW storm shield as dreadnought decoration is a stroke of genius. Simple, and yet...perfect! I need to order a few more sets of those shields  Thank you for sharing - T14 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240588-french-crusade/page/2/#findComment-2967897 Share on other sites
Roesor
With the dread I would keep th ehammer but lose the sword. And give him a shield, the sword is, dare i say, too big, looks uncumbersome. Perhaps shorten it. Still saved the picture though.. Felkor
Yeah, in fact, one day I will buy another Nemesis, and I will put 2 hammers on the dread :-D I love magnets. Mmh, some news ! First, WIP of my high marshal : (Todo : Eyes, Hammer, details). And, my first troopers : Hope a first painted tomorrow ! Chaplain ChonkE
Pfaw! Your Marshal will not need to slay his enemies locked in mortal combat; they will be struck down by rays of awesomeness bouncing off his tabard and warplate! Neck is a bit long me thinks but I think any Crusader would follow that Marine into the Eye and back! Wait, DOES THAT EAGLE HAVE TWO HEADS?!?!? edit: It DOES! I am going to go have a long pull of whiskey now. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240588-french-crusade/page/2/#findComment-2968975 Share on other sites
Felkor
It is based on the Coteaz model. The eagle too ! (I have to do make some details on the 2 heads, btw). A little progress on my first trooper : And I try an OSL : you will take again a little strawberry jam? YOU FAAAAIIILLLLL ! Someone has some advices? I try to follow a tutorial on the net, but without success  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240588-french-crusade/page/2/#findComment-2969912 Share on other sites

Marshal Severarse
"you will take again a little strawberry jam?" Hahahahahaaaa! Hilarious. Maybe try some very diluted washes over it until that nasty jam fades down a LOT. I don't know, I'm not a great painter or anything, but your idea is a good one... just fade the glow up on his helmet down. Felkor
Yeah, I will do some more tests for the OSL part. Nevertheless, a Land raider is on the way ! Marshal Severarse
Fabulous. You will have one of the most beautiful Crusades of all once you are finished. I'm even starting to like the monochromatic colour scheme.
