Captain Engelhardt Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 Alright B&C, here we go: Granted, the idea is not really new, but once I figured I needed a nice HQ for my Blood Pact, Straken seemed like he was the man for the plan. So here he is now, I think he uses parts from ~20 different kits, as well as GS and plasticcard. The WIP pic is black and white, but that's only because my conversions are always so very messy with all the parts collected from different corners of my bits box. I wanted to go for the "millennia-old-bada$$-chaoslord-hung-with-trophies-from-the-artwork" look instead of the plain and boring GW Berserker. To illustrate, something like this, this or this instead of this. Oh and a question. The head piece is behind his head or on his head? Looks a bit confusing. Yes, it is behind his head. I wanted to make him stand out as a Berserker, without putting a helmet on, so I replaced the back of his neck plating with the 'zerker headpiece. I later modelled a servant that is carrying his horned helmet (so no fancy crest) around, counting as a bodyguard (as if a World Eater ever needed a human bodyguard B) ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Excuse me while I steal this idea for my Zerkers ^^ I really like the business of the miniature, and he's obviously a great centerpiece for a Blood Pact army.
