MalachiOfRuss
Hi everyone, I'm trying to convert a model to be Njal in Power Armor (don't like the official one). Can anyone suggest a good bit to use for the model to be holding the Staff? I tried using the axe from the Space Wolves box and cut off the axe head, but I'm not super happy with it and seeing if there is a better option. Can anyone point me at some good bits I can use? Thanks. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240663-staff-bit-for-njal-conversion/ Share on other sites
skoll
chaos termy sorc staff is pretty nifty, you can always modify the power armor box thunder hammer as well Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240663-staff-bit-for-njal-conversion/#findComment-2905766 Share on other sites
CainTheHunter
This one perhaps? Not very technological, but has some resemblance to "runic things"... http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m490469_99060204086_WoodElfMaleSpellsingerStaffMain_873x627.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/240663-staff-bit-for-njal-conversion/#findComment-2905791 Share on other sites
the Fell Hand
As a base you could use the GK warding staff bit, that's what I am going to do. Franc
You can always try staff from current Njal model  Since it's finecast (that means resin), you could pretty easily model it for power armor. slmellon
As a base you could use the GK warding staff bit, that's what I am going to do. You could replace the human skull with the wolf skull and add some wolf tails. Its simple but could be effective. This sounds like the best idea yet. My local group has a Grey Knight player (doesn't everyone's now?); I'll see if he can spare a Warding Staff. It's exactly what I did for rune priest in termie armor & it works great.
