Unfortunately due to a broken laptop the updates will be extremely sporadic. First things first was an Iron Hands captain commission. I wanted to make a model that could represent either a chapter master, captain or Lysander. I was initially going to include more weapon options, but I felt that thunder hammer or relic blade and storm shield was a very good combination. Its obviously still WIP but I wanted the armour to be ornate but not overly fussy, so it's got a lot of overlapping plates and straight edges, but also has stylised aquilas on the chest plate and knee/elbow/hip plates. The cloak is meant to be reminiscent of a Black Templar Sword Brethren's cloak in that its slung over the shoulder. Purity seals will be added to the shoulders, as will a small heraldic shield on the storm shield arm. Other models I'm working on, a converted Blood Angels chaplain, a simple conversion using a legion of the damned model, and a converted Iron Hands Librarian in terminator armour.
