I've been using the BnC search engine for years and have never had an issue with it. Want the threads about how to equip WGT? Just type "+Wolf +Guard +Terminators" (without the quotes), and you'll get the results with plenty of threads about how to equip them. Also, the unfortunate placement at the bottom of any page for the search bar/function will lead to it either getting overlooked or unnoticed by new members.
