the jeske
and the only ones that dont run libbies are crow builds at 1500 or less. Ah, the jeske and his mono-builds that everyone takes. I was thinking much the same. My friend runs GK's and he uses a librarian once in a blue moon. sure . make a crow list at 1500pts which is effective and runs a libriarian . I would realy like to see that . [as in actualy want to see. am all about different builds ] . This is the problem that 'nids have. They are horrid all-comers armies because they simply don't have the tools or defenses to reliably take on all comers. Rather, they rely on relatively favorable matchups ... which more often than not they will still struggle with nothing can be more true . they are like revers IG. bad at all rounder even worse when tailoring starts. Which draws the question how could the same dude make those two dex. I have other units to pressure the Strikes... They are too busy with other things to waste any time casting WQ. It's easy to get SitW and possibly DoA in range as well. and which units are those , because the only way for strike to not cast quake against an army that has deep striking anti tank [its more or less only anti tank] is to be in hth and using force weapons . That maybe problematic as turn 2 most MC are not in assault[and the spores come on turn 2 50% of time] and non MC get beaten by strikes because of cover and the rate of fire GK armies have [unless you play on space hulk boards all the time where LoS is 6" long max]. BLACK BLΠFLY
I should have included a caveat to say that landraiders are not popular|common in my local area where I play. Sure I still one from time to time but it's increasingly rare to see one. Definitely an army list should be balanced but not overly so in my opinion. For example I'm not going to change my list to include a Tryannofex to 'more effectively' deal with heavy armor such as the landraider. Zoies are effective enough if you take a squad of three... At least one shot should get through. They are not good in melee but then again Nidz are a lot like bears - if you see some little ones about then you can rest assured there are some big ones close by and the deeper you travel into the forest you start to realize there are lots and lots of them and they aren't friendly by any means. :pinch: G ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241206-shadow-in-the-void/page/3/#findComment-2917239 Share on other sites
