I had the same problem with you because I live in Greece and the products everyone suggested are not available here. What you should do is go to a hardware store and ask for a "degreaser", like the kind they use to clean ovens,kitchens,etc. If in doubt just double check and ask the store if there is any chance it can harm plastic. That's what I did and I found one that removes paint from my plastic models without any harm to them (or me :)). Good luck.
