Seth's Right Hand, The start of my Flesh Tearers

just thought id share my Flesh Tearers project on here, im making a very fast close combat orientated army named Seths Right hand

due to the flesh tearers dwindling numbers i though this army might be the sort of spec ops of the chapter representing the best of the best

and the equipment used would be reserved for dire situation which is why the other chapers believe they dont have acces to this equipment

so far i have 10 Vanguard veterans made from death company marines 5 painted 5 more to go maybe a rhino for transport not sure about a land raider

i think that might be a bit much for flesh tearers it would have to be a redeemer if i did

i have a honor guard made from sanguinary guard minus the jump packs 3 with the axes and plasma pistols 1 with power fist and 1 priest

i wont be painting these gold maybe just a gold trim like my veterans i think the models will look unique enough to stand out as honor guard,

i might add a storm raven as transport for them.

i plan on adding 2 furioso dreadnought and 1 normal dreadnought for a little heavy support

i will include two 10 man assult squads maybe with rhino transport each will have 2 meltas and a power fist

and thats it so far not sure where to go from their really ill add more pics as i get around to painting let me know what you think

o also here is a chaplin i kit bashed today

preventer those models look great and i'll be sure to follow your progress when you upload more.

i agree that a land raider would be too much for a fast army, maybe speeders and razorbacks?

could you share your technique for getting that red?

yes iv decided that a land raider wouldnt be the way to go at the moment but i do like the potential of storm ravens for moving my dreads and troops into combat

so i may look at adding another to move the furiosos, VV and honor guard i know its not very fluffy for FT but ill write a background story as to why they have them later,

as for the red i didnt paint the red on that squad personaly but im going to get the recipy so as soon as i have it ill share it,

i was also thinking of including a squad of gray knights and an inquisitor (for story reasons) when i build a display board for them due to them being under scrutiny and to fall in with the story im going to write for the army

ok so progress is going slow on my Flesh Tearers but i had alot of bit laying around and i thought id make up a few Sternguard, it was a very fast job, i know its not very flesh Tearers but i thought they would at least have a few guys that would prefer using a bolter to pistol and sword and i suppose they fit a special weapon role in the army i made 6, 3 with combi melta, 1 with combi flamer, 1 with heavy bolter and 1 serg.

i have an Assault Squad with Rhino/Razorback, Venerable Dreadnought, and liby in production just waiting for some bits coming.

Also i have 5 more V Vets, Furioso, Honor Guard and Chaplin almost finished being painted that i will hopefully have pics of up soon.

Here are a few picks of the SG i made i like the Combi Meltas not sure about the Flamer though and im not sure which of the 2 power fists should go with the SG the other will go in the assault squad.
