Inquisitor Hexx
I wanted to share a few pictures of a life sized inferno pistol prop I just finished up. It's made of cast resin and pvc, and measures 14" long, 9" tall, and 4.5" wide. It weighs about 4 lbs and wants to melt heretics really badly. http://forgeright.com/pics/infernopistol/IMG_0494sm.jpg http://forgeright.com/pics/infernopistol/IMG_0519sm.jpg http://forgeright.com/pics/infernopistol/IMG_0514sm.jpg http://forgeright.com/pics/infernopistol/IMG_0515sm.jpg Hope you like it :woot: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241505-life-size-inferno-pistol/ Share on other sites

Inquisitor Hexx
Thanks everyone :) I guess you'll need a ceramic holster? How the hell do you holster it after its been fired? Nice gun bro. LOL I never thought of that before but seriously, I don't think leather would cut it. You'd burn your leg to the bone! :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241505-life-size-inferno-pistol/#findComment-2917971 Share on other sites

Inquisitor Hexx
I recently saw a life size bolter on ebay that someone had made. But this is beautiful how long did it take to make? Thanks! I was working on this for about 6 weeks, but that was alongside some other projects like the bolt pistol I posted here a couple of weeks ago -_- Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241505-life-size-inferno-pistol/#findComment-2918188 Share on other sites
Brother Excedis
If you don't mind me asking how much was that to make? I'm wanting to make some scout and power armor over the summer and the infernus pistol is my favorite weapon next to the powersword Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241505-life-size-inferno-pistol/#findComment-2918205 Share on other sites
Nikolakhs
That's awesome! The effect would be even cooler if you managed to include a hairdryer on the inside of that design! -Nikolakhs Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241505-life-size-inferno-pistol/#findComment-2918280 Share on other sites
Olis
I recently saw a life size bolter on ebay that someone had made. But this is beautiful how long did it take to make? I remember seeing that. I didn't end up getting it though... ;) Excellent Inferno pistol Hexx. My only nitpick (and indeed it is being nitpicky) is that the muzzle is a little fat for my liking. Imho it'd look spot on if it was ever so slightly thinner. But that's really just my fickle taste, as I'd happily bid on ebay for such an item. -_- Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241505-life-size-inferno-pistol/#findComment-2918385 Share on other sites
Inquisitor Hexx
If you don't mind me asking how much was that to make? I'm wanting to make some scout and power armor over the summer and the infernus pistol is my favorite weapon next to the powersword I made the model for less than $40. It was mostly pink foam, mdf board and pvc none of which is expensive and you'll have enough left over to make another half dozen weapons at least! Since I made molds of the model so I could recast it, it cost me significantly more than that however :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241505-life-size-inferno-pistol/#findComment-2918584 Share on other sites
