Komrad
An excellent pack of Thunderwolves from Mythicast. I know the weapon options are illegal. But I built them for pure eye candy. http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o285/MrChaos_album/DSC08013.jpg http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o285/MrChaos_album/DSC08014.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241628-thunder-thunder-thunder-thunderwolves-ho/ Share on other sites
Rafen_2
Those are AWESOME! Such a shame that your options are illegal (don't really know since I don't play the tabletop). Token
I think it could be used on the tabletop- 4 wolf lords on TWM and a lone thunderwolf cavalry. Darius Macab
Where did you get those thunderwolves? They look fantanstic, better than the GW model. MeatGrinder
They are from Mythicast, says so in the OP. Fantastic looking models, I think you've convinced me to pick up a set. Brother Ambroz
Wow very nice looking models. Let's see some individual photos! They'll look great once they're painted too. Hammer
Nice looking Thunderwolves. After seeing these pics I went straight to the Mythicast page and ordered me some too! ;) The weapon choises are confucing though, I couldn't tell what they are really equipped with since they aren't WYSIWYG... I recommend you change the weaponry to what they could legally get. That would be much clearer and user-friendly to the opponent. Komrad
They can be pretty much used as Wolf Lords. Here are close-ups of the Thunderwolves. http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o285/MrChaos_album/DSC02635.jpg http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o285/MrChaos_album/DSC02640.jpg http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o285/MrChaos_album/DSC02639.jpg http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o285/MrChaos_album/DSC02638.jpg http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o285/MrChaos_album/DSC02637.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241628-thunder-thunder-thunder-thunderwolves-ho/#findComment-2920851 Share on other sites

dswanick
Just received mine in the mail. They are quite well done. My only wish is that they were made out of a less brittle material. The detail, on the other hand, is very good - on a par with stuff I've gotten from Forge World. The seller is currently running a deal that will net you 7 mounts and 6 companion wolves for around $125US. Hammer
How brittle the material is? Anything I should worry about? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241628-thunder-thunder-thunder-thunderwolves-ho/#findComment-2920939 Share on other sites
Hemal
Its resin at the end of teh day, which tends to be brittle as anything, especially cheaper resin. However the models should be more survivable than a metal model as they are much lighter. Nice poses, just thinking perhaps one more dark andbrooding one could use a Dark Angels hooded head and a shrouded body Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241628-thunder-thunder-thunder-thunderwolves-ho/#findComment-2920975 Share on other sites
