beefslinger
Building a dreadnought with a battle damaged sarcohpogus with the head of the warrior visible thought the sarcophogus cover. What is a good color for the warrior. I know he has been interned for hundreds of years and has not seen the light of day so curious has to type of grey/ashen skin tone to use and what color combinations may work. Trying to attach a pic but cant quite figure out how. thanks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241702-dreadnought-sarcophogus-help/ Share on other sites
darkenedsquire
I would personally go for how a lot of people do dark eldar skin which is a base coat of dheneb stone washed with ogryn flesh and highlighted with some elf flesh mixed in with bleached bone to make it look like the skin is pallid and old. Chaplain Gunzhard
Have you already started the conversion? ...I know this isn't directly answering your question but I did a LOT of experimenting with dread sarcophagus, attempting to put a naked head (no helmet) in there and it always looked so clownish and ridiculous. I ended up just using a helmet in the end: http://atticwars40k.blogspot.com/2011/10/s...ood-angels.html That said, yeah he would look pretty dead skin-tone wise. I'd start with a light blue and build up skin tones from there.
