Surfing Raziel
This has been a desire for me for quite some time and about a month ago I started buying up a few bits and pieces. I've only just started but I should have a working 2000 point plus army by the end of the month. I'm stilling building another Tactical Squad and some extra Terminators, besides that I just need to get some more Chapter Shoulder Badges for some lesser-known ones (which don't come cheap). Please also forgive any of the crappy pictures, it's the best I can do at the moment. HQ This is my Watch Captain a member of the Space Wolves and just using the sergeant options from the Wolf Guard box Command Squad (from left to right) Ultramarine with Storm Bolter and Powerfist, Blood Angel Apothecary with Bolt Pistol, Dark Angel with Plasma Pistol and Chainsword and Space Wolf with Bolt Pistol and Lightning Claw. (there will be a fifth but he's not build, but will be a Black Templar with Powersword, Meltagun and Stormshield) Troops My first Tactical Squad ten man strong, with a Sergeant from the Crimson Fists carrying a Combi-Melta and Melta Bomb. On the right of the Sergeant I have a Dark Angel with Plasma Cannon and to the right of him a Raven Guard. On the left of the Sergeant I have a Salamander with a Meltagun and Scanner and to the left of him a Red Scorpion and then a Space Wolf. The other four are undecided at the moment and are just standard Space Marine bits. Elites A five man Terminator Squad (soon to be ten man) A Dark Angels Sergeant with Storm Bolter and Power Sword. On the left a Space Wolf with an Assault Cannon from the Wolf Guards box. The Space Wolf again and to the left of him a Black Templar with a Storm Bolter and Chainfist. The other two are undecided but I would like to do an Imperial Fist with an Assault Cannon. Heavy Support Devastator Squad, with Iron Hand Sergeant with Chainsword and Bolt Pistol On the far right a Space Wolf carrying a Missile Launcher and firing his Bolt Pistol. Other Marine not decided. Far left is a Red Scorpion with Multimelta. Other Marine not decided. Land Raider Crusader on loan from the Black Templars, front door is a Black Templar door with Grey Knight Inquisition side doors. Land Raider Terminus Ultra from the Dark Angels Chapter, as this has not side doors I've use the front door from the Grey Knights Inquisition pack and a few Etched Brass Icons. Dark Angel Techmarine Tank Commander with Powersword and Bolt Pistol, just for show. Watch Commander Danek
Looking good so far. a few critiques. - Solidarity while keeping individuality is key. I'd try to either go all metal DW pads or the plastic one. Going back and forth breaks the synergy so to speak. - Remember for later reference that the Deathwatch as an Inquisition chamber militant has full access to their tech. They will have their own cadre of vehicles. :) - Drill those barrels friend! As someone who's been where you are venturing I know how fun and involving a Deathwatch strike force can be. Keep it up. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241952-deathwatch-army/#findComment-2923853 Share on other sites

Surfing Raziel
For the shoulder pad's it's mostly the Metal Deathwatch ones I'm using, but GW only make one plastic available in the Standard Terminator box and not with the Assault Terminator Squad. Also for some of the heavy weapons like the Plasma Cannon, the backpacks are too close and don't accommodate the extra flange on the Deathwatch shoulder pads. Also in the fluff they are a military arm of the Inquisition, however if you try and play a game with an Inquisitor leading an army of Space Marines, someone's going to kick off about some rule breaking. And the exhausts and other holes with be drilled, I've just not round to it. However I've taken a few pictures of the army as it stands, the list is as follows. Captain Command Squad 2x Tactical Squads Terminator Squad Devastator Squad Land Raider Crusader Land Raider Terminus Ultra Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/241952-deathwatch-army/#findComment-2925140 Share on other sites
