New Chapter 4.0

I been afk for awhile but I am back I have finished my origins section and it needs some improvement and I would like to get some ideas and suggestions from you all. I will supply the outline prior to what I actually wrote as this is going to be a miniature guide of how you can write an IA, also here is New Chapter 3.0 , New Chapter 2.0 , and New Chapter , by reading these discussions you can see how I got to this point.

Imperial Fist Successor Chapter

Created to regain control of the Lacior Sector

Initial efforts resulted in a stale mate until Captain Kenari used terror tactics

He becomes Chapter Master during the war

He believes in crushing the spirit of the enemy with terror tactics

They regain control and claim the Death World La’cem as their Home World

Origins:

An Imperial Fist Successor Chapter was created during the 11th Founding. They were created to regain control of an area that was taken over by a wealthy group of merchants who used their wealth to gain control of a sector. With a powerful fleet and army under their command they declared independence from the Imperium.

 

Their military was well trained and initial efforts made by the Chapter resulted in a stale mate. The tide of the battle eventually shifted when the Captain of the 3rd Company Kenari Zaki was able to get one of the planets to surrender. Using the Codex as a guide they were able to use terror tactics effectively, several marines including the Captain infiltrated other planets. The infiltrators wrecked havoc on the population spreading rumors, blowing up buildings, and killing political leaders. They even captured Military Commanders and torture them over live broadcasts, when Kenari Zaki captured and tortured the Imperial Governor of the sector the enemy soon surrendered.

 

The training cadre impressed by Kenari Zaki’s accomplishments made him the Chapters first Chapter Master. In his inaugural speech Kenari Zaki declares that merely beating your opponent is not sufficient enough you must annihilate their spirit, assassinate their character, and demolish their will. He claimed that the only way to accomplish these goals is to put fear into the hearts of your enemies. Thus the Angels of Despair were born a chapter that believes in creating a sense of hopelessness before attacking the enemy and many believe them to be the masters of terror tactics. Several rebellions have ended because of rumors that the Angels of Despair is coming!

Are they using fear to expedite the conquest or to reduce civilian casualties and property damage in the long term? Sounds a stupid question but if it is the former then they are cold calculating monster and if it is the latter then they are shepherds in wolves clothing.

 

What is standard modus operandi when invading? Do they have a larger number of scouts to infiltrate and cause more terror? Do they have human agents and operatives to stalk amongst the cattle?

That is not a dum question but an excellent idea, I will try to add this to my IA. Using fear to create a better Imperium is a great idea, I just need to find ways to add it in, have any suggestions.

My combat doctrine section I think is going to be very entertaining, its going to involve a little bit of everything!
