Mac the knife
The cover art for the BA book has been finished. I believe James Swallow has the honour of writing about our sanguine brothers. Not positive but I think it's called "Fear to Tread" according to the BL site it's slated for a Sept 2012 release. linky to the cover art http://www.blacklibrary.com/Images/BL/blog...11/closeup2.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/242132-reading-the-series/#findComment-2926826 Share on other sites
Walter Payton
It's just a sad fact that, because of the internal chronology of the Heresy, some chapters' story arcs start later - the BA are one. Your time to shine is on Signus and at the Siege of Terra. IronKobra
They are coming Dem, I think it's December 'Fear to Tread' will be out. It's true that Blood Angels story doesn't start until Horus sends them to Signus, but it's going to be one Hell of a story! There have been the odd mention/appearance of Blood Angels through the books and a comment on Sanguinius in Ravens Flight (audiobook) but the only concrete one I remember is a cameo by Raldoron (SP?) in Thousand Sons at the events of Nikea. Saa
It's just a sad fact that, because of the internal chronology of the Heresy, some chapters' story arcs start later - the BA are one. Your time to shine is on Signus and at the Siege of Terra. I've gotta say I've really enjoyed reading the majority of the HH so far. But I'm now starting to feel that even though I love the Chaos Legions, I want more about the loyalists during the Heresy. Blood Angels, Imperial Fists and the freakin' White Scars please! I'm holding out for Know no Fear to slake my UM interest.....I wait with baited breath. Saa ....or something like that Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/242132-reading-the-series/#findComment-2927598 Share on other sites

Power Hungry Monkey
As others have said. The BAs are getting there own book late next year and their part in the Heresy is small until later on. That said, the actual cronology of the Heresy is somewhat of a non-point. Aside form the first 4 books there is no real cronological order to the books and audiobooks. There is a definate limit to the events at this point, nothing much further than the aftermarth of Istvaan, but in terms of what takes place in the books they range from pre-discovery of Primarchs (Decent of Angels) to Horus rampaging round the galaxy (Nemesis). I'm just finishing off The Outcast Dead at this point and there is mention of Signus and the BAs so we know their events are already taking place but we've also only just had the Dropsite Massacares possibly months before. Certain authors are goig to focus on the parts of the Herey and the events that interest them, whether they are before or during the current events. As it is, I think we are still A LOOOOONG way off anything involing the Seige of Terra. There are still major events like Signus (BAs), Calth (WBs and UMs) the conflict between the Lion and the Wolf, the War in the Webway and then there are major Post Heresy events like The Iron Cage (IFs and IWs) the assiniation of Night Haunter and others that will hopefully be covered. What I'm trying to say is that the Black Library has done us a solid by going into this ear of the Imperium SOOO thouroughly to this point; they will not risk the ire of a billion nerds and just rush over important parts of the established fluss, let alone all the extra stuff they've already added in. Everyone will get their own book, it'll just take time Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/242132-reading-the-series/#findComment-2930223 Share on other sites
Falconis
Sanguinius does make the odd appearance in a book or two- Thousand Sons/Prospero Burns has him speaking at the Council of Nikkea. And as already mentioned the Angels are at Murder getting their asses kicked :D In Deliverance Lost, Horus makes a small but very interesting remark about the Blood Angels- but I won't ruin that for anyone :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/242132-reading-the-series/#findComment-2930987 Share on other sites
